About
After contemplation part has been presented with instrumental and light in sound "A Tune for the Moon" EP, it's time for thoughts of the Twilightide to be expressed in this metallized, full-blooded "A Song for the Sun".
In general, this mini-album presents an Atmospheric Dark Light Metal in the way it should sound, using different elements, different styles, less repeating, more experiments. More about songs.
Songs compiled here were composed from early spring of 2006 to April 2007. Early songs were lately rerecorded (and extended) to match in sound the latest ones. Also, "Before the storm" intro links back to the first record of the Inner Sea (The Sign), using up an atmospheric version of "the Storm" refrain. "Dancing within a Spring" cites "Vortex of Blindness" composition from the very early demo of the Jolly Roger (and bearing intentionally opposite sense).
Compositions have got longer, than on any previous record (none is shorter then five and a half minutes), the structure became really meanderous, rebellowing from Tibetan and Chinese folk to industrial elements and even techno beats. All music and arrangements, as well as song lyrics are composed and played by Stab Venom; Recorded and mixed between September 2006—May 2007.
I would like to dedicate this work to my Little Princess, who is gifting me an understanding and is being there to share all the wonders around us. I send greetings to all those who are with me in mind. Thank You.

Underwater skies – we are trying to fly
Out of deep blue life – failing time by time
I know there is the sun
For I see net of specks on sand,
It rays through satin waves
…If only I could reach surface (so fascinating…)
Fascinating dells
Highlighted dunes of sand
Air sparks attend my flight
Upon the heaving bents
Going down for a whit of ground
Then I turn to ascend
To my Underwater Skies
Leaving my promised land …in…
...Dire desire, falling high...
When we feel we are going higher
Falling up is submerging either
Out of breath we are diving above
Way to go?... Time will show
When we feel our lungs are at fire
We are on the search of respire
